How sexy is this? +UPDATE
Nintendo DS mod god natrium42 (hardware hacker)created this sexy, neat and compact little card adapter that is slim enough to fit into the DS card slot!
UPDATE: (Just to clarify: What you see in the second picture is the card slot (which accepts NDS cards) connected to the card adapter (which goes into the NDS) to test electrical connections by running SM64. Eventually, the card adapter will be connected to a FPGA board to capture communication between the card and DS and to inject data into the communication. DarkFader already accomplished this (he has also made a similar card adapter) and he is able to run arbitrary code. ~ natrium42 ~)
natrium42 then goes on to helpfully describe the nicely crafted adapter's construction and even directs readers to some tutorials. Class act.
How does this advance the struggle to tunnel the DS? To put Linux on it or run homebrew ROMS? It doesn't necessarily - all those things are still coming but they haven't happened yet.In the mean time we'll entertain ourselves with Smint containers and Warpipe rumors. Progress report concluded.
This news item cribbed from MeGaBiTe1's Blog - tho to be fair, I heard it from Theo today in person before I read my RSS. MeGaBiTe1 and Theo can duke out bragging rights in the court of multiplay Metroid.

Speaking of multiplay metroid court - we've been on recess long enough... -SilentK
So what does the adapter actually do? Dump ROMS?
The device permits you to plug the DS directly into the PC.
